The much awaited Fox hill Supercross 2015, the grandest Motor Race in the Calendar is confirmed to take place on 17th and 18th April, after the Sri Lanka Autosports Drivers Association (SLADA) had discussions with Sports Minister Navin Dissanayake on Wednesday.
SLAS was sans a number of prominent events in their calendar drawn up for the year which was released in January and they had removed Fox Hill Super cross due to dates clashing. Speaking to the Ceylon Today, Rizvi Farouk Secretary SLADA stated that “We had a discussion with Minister of Sports Navin Dassanayake on Wednesday and after the discussion held with the Minister he directed SLAS to arrange the dates for the Fox hill Super cross.”
The most celebrated motor sport fox hill organized by SLADA was forced to be taken off after the event dates clashed with the Nuwara Eliya Road Race conducted by the Sri Lanka Motor Cycle Club (SLMCC).
The Fox Hill event was earlier scheduled to be held on 17 and 18 April, and Nuwara Eliya road race on 18 and 19 April.
